“Ibn Taymiyyah” writes:

It’s been also quoted in “Tafsir” Quran from “Ibn Masʿūd ” and other Sahaba - except Ibn Abbas - who didn’t get something from {Hadrat} Ali [AS] … and in these Hadiths and Tafsir books many issues have been quoted from “Sahaba” and “Tabi’in” {Those who met one or several companions of Prophet [PBUH] and believed in Prophet’s prophecy but they didn’t meet Prophet Muhammad} but a few things have been quoted from {Hadrat} Ali [AS] and most of things that have been quoted from “Ja’far al-Sadiq” [AS] written in “Facts of Tafsir” book by “Salami”, are lie, as other lies were ascribed to him as well.
