Why didn`t Bani Hashem and Ansar defend Hazrat Fatima (peace be upon her)?

Doubt

The people of Medina were relatives of the prophet. The mother of the prophet was from Medina and the mother of Abd Al-Motaleb (Salami) was from the powerful tribe of Khazrej. Therefore, the people of Medina considered themselves the uncles of the prophet.

In addition, the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)  could train a thousand devotees that were ready to sacrifice themselves to defend the prophet and his family in the path of God. Suppose that we accept such false remarks of the enemies of the Islam, how come did Bani Hashem  observe that the daughter of the messenger of God was slapped, the door of the house was fired and Mohen was killed in the age of six, but they did not react and object?

How come did the sincere and selfless Muslims and especially the people of Medina that had kinship relationship with the prophet remain silent and they did not object?

Criticism and analysis

At first, it should be said that this matter is a kind of improbability not reason because narrations that demonstrate invasion toward the house of Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her) and Amir Momenan (peace be upon him) have been narrated in the Sunni books ( not Shiite books)with valid document . Hence, these words are the words for addressing someone and provoking feelings rather than logical discussion.

The effect of the Aslam Tribe in establishing the government of Abubakr

Ghoreish, Abubakr and Umar usurped the right of Amir Momenan when he was burying the messenger of God. Then, they attracted most of the people of Ghoreish with suborning others (such as Abu Sofyan).

Abubakr and Umar summoned tribes that lived in the deserts and had become Muslim under pressure and most of the new Muslims and Amir Momenan was the pivot of victory of the Islam in all of wars and they had animosity with Amir Momenan (peace be upon him) and the hypocrites misused this animosity. Then they surrounded the house of Amir Momenan using the pressure of these groups and tribes living in the desert around Medina and wanted to fire it.

Tabari in the book ' ' history ' ', Maverdi Shafei in the book ' ' Al-Havi Al-Kabir ' ' and Abd Al-Vahab Noveiri in the book ' ' Nahaye Al-Arab ' ' have written

The Asalam Tribe got together in Medina in order to swear allegiance with Abu Bakr. There were people as many as malls accumulate them.

Umar said ' ' when I saw the Aslam Tribe, I reassured about our victory ' '.

In other words, if the people of Medina had wanted, they would not have been able to stand against Abubakr, Umar and their supporters.

Lack of defense of Bani Hashem and Ansar from the point of view of Amir Momenan (peace be upon him):

Amir Momenan (peace be upon him) has mentioned lack of defense of the companions (whether Bani Hashme, companions or Ansar) from Ahle Beit and its reasons in some of its sermons. We will refer to some of them:

The supplication of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) from God:

O ' God! I seek your help for victory against Ghoreish and his companions that broke my relationship with my relatives, disintegrated my affairs and all of them joined their forces for right that I was more qualified than them and said

' ' If you can, take back your right and if they deprive you from your right, wait for your right with grief and woe or die from the enthusiasm of your right ' '.

I looked around and I found no companions to help me except my family, but I would not like to risk their life.

Nahaj Al-Balaghe, Sermon 217

c. innocence and fairness of Imam Ali ( peace be upon him):

روى كثير من المحدثين انه عقيب يوم السقيفة تالم وتظلم واستنجد واستصرخ حيث ساموه الحضور والبيعة وانه قال وهو يشير الى القبر (يا بن ام إن القوم استضعفوني وكادوا يقتلونني)، وانه قال وا جعفراه ولا جعفر لى اليوم واحمزتاه ولا حمزة لى اليوم.

Most of narrators have narrated that Imam Ali (peace be upon him) became sad after the story of Saghife and he summoned his right, requested help and shouted ' ' they did not attend in his presence and did not swear allegiance. When he was toward the grave of the messenger of God, he said ' ' O ' the child of my mother! This tribe found me an unable person and they were about to kill me and said ' ' O ' Jafar! He is not with me anymore. O ' Hamze! He is not with me anymore.

c. imposed allegiance with remembering relatives:

Amir Momenan said ' ' I understood that I had no supporter and assistant. Then I wanted to save my dynasty from obliteration. Moreover, if my uncles, Hamze and Jafar, had supported me after the messenger of God, I would not have had forced to swear allegiance. Therefore, I had to relied on two new Muslims ( Abbas and Aghil). Then I wanted to save my dynasty from obliteration. I closed my eyes in spite of thorns in my eyes; I swallowed the water of my mouth in spite of prickles in my mouth; I dealt with difficulties that were bitterer than Algham (bitter plants) and I dealt with difficulties that were more painful than thorn in my heart.

Ashas Ben Gheis that was angry from the remark of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said ' ' O ' the son of Abu Taleb! When some persons from Tim Ben Mare and Bani Edi Ben Kaab and Bani Omaye swore allegiance with Abubakr why didn 't you fight with them and use your sword against them? When you came to Iraq, you said at the end of all of your remarks and sermons before finishing it ' ' I swear God that I am closer to people than themselves. Since the prophet deceased, I have been tyrannized. why didn’t you use your sword in defending your right?

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said ' ' O ' the son of Gheis! You said enough, but now you should listen to my remarks ' ' fear and avoidance of death did not prevent me from it. I am completely sure that the satisfaction of God is better than the world and its belongings. However, what prevented me from fighting with sword was the will and the promise of the messenger of God with me. the messenger of God ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)  had informed me of whatever the nation would do with me. Hence, the behavior of the nation was not as the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) had told me. I said ' ' O ' the messenger of God! If such thing happens, what is your order and will for me? ' '

He said ' ' if you have some companions, fight with them. If not, stop fighting and do not waste your blood so that you can find some companions in order to perform the religion and the book of God and my tradition ' '.

The messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) informed me that the nation would leave me, would swear allegiance with someone else except me and would obey him as soon as possible. The messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) informed me that my relationship with him was like the relationship of Harun toward Musa. After a while, the destination of the nation will be like Harun, his followers, calf and the worshipers of calf as Musa said to Harun ' ' O ' Harun! When you understood that they went astray, why didn 't you separate from them? Did you want to disobey me? ' ' O ' brother! This tribe made me weak and they were about to kill me ' '. He also added ' ' do not censure me; I scared that you said that I made discord among Bani Israeil and I did not apply your will. When Musa appointed Harun in his rank, he said to him ' ' if they go astray and you cannot find any companions, fight with them; if not, stop fighting; do not waste your blood and do not make discord among them ' '. I scared that my brother, the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), would say such thing to me ' ' why did you make discord among the nation and why didn 't you apply my will? And I said to you ' ' if you do not find any companions, stop fighting and do not waste your blood and the blood of your Ahle Beit and followers?

After the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) deceased, the people came to Abubakr and swore allegiance with him while I    the messenger of God. Then I started reciting       baptizing and burying was

Quran and I promised myself that I would only pray and I would not leave the house until I collected the Quran and I did that. Then I picked up Fateme and took the hand of my sons, Hassan and Hussein and went to the houses devotees of Badr and pioneers in the Islam, the migrants and the supporters and I swore them to God about my right and summoned them to help me. Among them, only four persons ( Salman, Abuzar, Meghdad and Zobeir) supported me. There was no one in my dynasty that supported me; Hamze was killed at the war of Ohod and Jafar was killed at the battle. There were Only two weak bad-tempered wretched supporters ( Abas and Aghil) that had just become Muslim from blasphemy. The people considered me unqualified and left me as Harun said to his brother ' ' I said ' ' O ' brother! This tribe made me weak and they wanted to kill me ' '. Harun was a pattern for goodness and the promise of the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was a strong reason.

I swear someone that cut the seed and created human; if I had had forty soldiers that had insight of those four persons in the day that Abubakr was sworn (you censure me because of that), I would not have definitely let up and stood against this tribe. However, I did not find another qualified person; therefore, I stopped doing any actions.

Ashas said ' ' O ' Amir Al-Momenin! Who were these four persons? ' ' He said ' ' they were Salman, Abuzar , Meghdad and Zobeir Bin Safie, before he broke his allegiance with me ' '. In fact, he swore allegiance with me twice. At the first time, he kept his allegiance with me. When some swore allegiance with Abubakr, forty persons of the migrants and the people of Ansar came and swore allegiance with me and Zobeir was one of them. I ordered them to attend in the front of my house with shaved head and with weapons. None of them kept their promise and confirmed me except four persons, Salman, Meghdad, Abuzar and Zobeir…

I took the hand of Fateme and my two children, Hassan and Hussein, and I went to the people of Badr and Sabeghin and I swore them to my right and invited them to help me. I swear to someone that sent Muhammad as a right action; if I had found forty persons that fought in the path of God in the day that Abubakr was sworn allegiance, I would have done my duty.

I swear God that if I had had forces as many as the companions of Talut and the number of the warriors of Badr and they had been enemy with you (they had been my companions), I would have killed you with sword so that you followed the right path. However, it was better that we were far from each other in order to have tranquility.

Answer according to the foundation of the Sunni scientists: Bani Hashem and Ansar obeyed the order of the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)

To demonstrate the legitimacy of caliphate of caliphs, the Sunni scientists have narrated narrations in their books. According to these narrations, the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) ordered his companions to obey caliphs after them even though they know that  they implement the tradition of the prophet , exploit the wealth of people and mislead them instead of guiding human toward God.

Although we are sure about the falsity of the narrations, we resort to them (since they have been said in the Sunni most valid books) and say

Although Bani Hashem, Ansar and other companions of the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) knew that Abubakr, Umar and …usurped caliphate, did not implement the tradition of the messenger of God and exploited the wealth of people (such as Fadak), they obeyed the order of the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and refused to revolt for the sake of some benefits.

Moslem Neishaburi narrates a narration from Hazife Ben Yaman that the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has bade

Leaders that will come after me have not benefited from my guidance and will not act to my tradition. In addition, among them, there will be persons that will have devil inner with the appearance of human. I said ' ' O ' the messenger of God! If we understand that day, what will our duty be? ' ' He said ' ' listen to their remarks and obey their orders. If they hit you and exploit your wealth, you should obey them ' '.

Hence, lack of defense of Bani Hashem, Ansar, and other Sehah Sete from Hazrat Fateme Zahra (peace be upon her) and the usurped right of Amir Momenan (peace be upon him) was according to the order of the messenger of God and because of some benefits and their importance is more than revolt against Abubakr.

Good luck
