He expressed these views addressing a ceremony that was held in Karachi to celebrate the Mothers’ Day/Women’s Day on the occasion of birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra, daughter of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle of God and Prophet of Islam.
Allama Raja Nasir said that media was projecting the Western culture and Hindu traditions alongside highlighting the lifestyle of affluent people instead of defending the indigenous culture of Muslims and Pakistanis. He urged that young generations need to be protected against the cultural invasion of those enemies who are aliens to Islamic traditions and Pakistan Muslims’ culture.
Khanum Syeda Zahra Naqvi and other office bearers of MWM women wing also spoke. They stressed on the need for women to follow Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS) because she is the only role model for women because of her model role as mother, daughter and wife.
